This is going to be a very interesting year since it is a 9 year, ruled by the planet Mars. It is a year of finalization, endings, the culmination after years of struggle, viruses, protests. Since the BLM protests and covid it’s been mostly quiet, but it’s not a coincidence that Trump has returned to finish and complete what was started in 2019. In Trump’s vedic birthchart he has Mars in Leo. Mars is the planet of war, destruction, aggression, action and in the fire sign Leo is quite a fiery powerful personality oriented to action, conflict, and war. These are not bad qualities to have, especially in a 9 year.
War is not bad when it’s a dharmic war and a fight for freedom, action, and for the good of society. The Mahabharata was a dharmic war that was necessary for the good of society. Past history has shown that it’s necessary to fight a dharmic war for the good of society, otherwise slavery would still exist, women wouldn’t be able to vote in the U.S, the British would control most of the world including the US. The revolutionaries and founding fathers that fought for freedom, Paul Revere, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin are the reason the US is what it is today. But are we upholding those ideals that they set for us? How much progress have we made as a society?
There are 3 cycles, creation, sustain, and destruction. In order to create something completely new the original system has to be destroyed. To destroy a system that’s been in place for centuries is extremely difficult to do through the current political system. Change happens slowly or not at all. Destruction and conflict is necessary for creation to occur. You cannot be in creation or sustain mode forever, there has to be destruction at some point. And when destruction occurs it can be painful and difficult, which is why people fear and resist it, but eventually something better comes out of it as a new cycle begins.
